The Cisco Catalyst IE-3100-4P2S-E is a compact, ruggedized industrial Ethernet switch designed for harsh and space-constrained environments. Built for operational technology (OT) and extended enterprise networks, it delivers reliable Gigabit connectivity with integrated Power over Ethernet for industrial devices such as IP cameras, sensors, controllers, and wireless access points.
This model features 4 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ copper ports and 2 Gigabit SFP uplinks, enabling flexible network design while supplying up to 120W PoE power to edge devices. Its fanless, convection-cooled design ensures silent operation and long-term durability in environments with extreme temperatures, vibration, and electrical noise.
Running on Cisco IOS XE with Network Essentials, the IE-3100-4P2S-E supports industrial protocols, advanced Layer 2 features, basic Layer 3 routing, and secure remote access. Dual DC power inputs and industrial redundancy protocols make it ideal for mission-critical deployments in manufacturing, transportation, energy, utilities, and smart infrastructure.
