Description
The Lenovo ThinkSystem NVIDIA L40 48GB PCIe Gen4 Passive GPU is a high-performance data center accelerator built on the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture. Designed for demanding visualization, AI, rendering, simulation, virtual workstation, and compute workloads, the L40 combines advanced CUDA, Tensor, and RT cores with 48GB of GDDR6 memory.
With 18,176 CUDA cores, 568 fourth-generation Tensor Cores, and 142 third-generation RT Cores, the L40 delivers up to 90.5 TFLOPS of FP32 performance and powerful acceleration for AI training, inference, ray tracing, 3D graphics, and digital content creation. Its PCIe Gen4 x16 interface, 864 GB/s memory bandwidth, ECC support, and passive cooling design make it optimized for enterprise data center environments.
The GPU supports NVIDIA vPC, vApps, and RTX Virtual Workstation software and includes four DisplayPort 1.4a connections that can support up to four 5K displays at 60 Hz or two 8K displays at 60 Hz when enabled.
