Description

The Broadcom Emulex LPe31002-M6 is a high-performance Gen 6 (16G) Fibre Channel dual-port host bus adapter designed for modern flash-accelerated storage environments. Engineered for demanding workloads, virtualized infrastructures, and mission-critical SAN deployments, this adapter delivers industry-leading throughput, ultra-low latency, and exceptional reliability.

Built on Broadcom’s Dynamic Multi-core architecture, the LPe31002-M6 intelligently allocates ASIC resources to deliver over 1.6 million IOPS per port, ensuring consistent service-level performance even in congested or highly utilized environments. It supports NVMe over Fibre Channel and SCSI over FC concurrently, enabling seamless transitions to high-speed all-flash arrays while maintaining backward compatibility.

The HBA also enhances data protection and service uptime with features such as Forward Error Correction (FEC), T10-PI hardware offload, secure firmware updates, and advanced Brocade interoperability tools like ClearLink® diagnostics. Fully upgradeable to 32GFC via Broadcom-certified transceiver kits, the LPe31002-M6 ensures long-term investment protection and easy scalability for next-gen SAN architectures.
