Description
The Edgecore CFP2-ACO Lumentum TRB100BA-02 is an Analog Coherent Optics (ACO) transceiver designed for use with the Edgecore Cassini AS7716-24SC coherent switch. It enables high-capacity 100 Gbps transmission for metro and long-haul DWDM networks, supporting data-center interconnect and carrier applications.
Operating in CFP2 form factor, the ACO module separates the analog optical and digital signal processing (DSP) functions, allowing operators to pair it flexibly with different coherent DSPs for cost-effective, scalable deployments. The CFP2-ACO supports advanced modulation formats such as DP-QPSK, offering excellent performance over long distances while maintaining low power consumption and interoperability within open, disaggregated network architectures.
This module integrates seamlessly into the Edgecore Cassini open packet transponder platform, enabling flexible combinations of coherent and non-coherent interfaces for high-capacity optical transport.
