The AudioCodes Mediant 2000 Modular Expansion Base (HW/M2K/CH/DUALAC) is a compact, carrier-grade 1U chassis engineered for small-scale enterprise and service provider deployments. Designed to support modular TDM and VoIP interfaces, it enables the flexible build-out of voice, data, and access applications while maintaining the high reliability AudioCodes gateways are known for.
Built on AudioCodes’ VoIPerfect architecture, the Mediant 2000 chassis provides a scalable and standards-compliant platform that supports rapid development and deployment across wireline, wireless, cable, and broadband environments. Its dual AC power supply design ensures redundancy, resilience, and uninterrupted operation in demanding network environments.
The Mediant 2000 is ideal for NEPs, system integrators, and enterprises requiring interoperability with legacy PBXs, PSTN systems, radio access networks, or softswitch-based architectures. Its open modular foundation allows expansion up to 16 E1/T1/J1 spans and supports integration with applications such as PacketCable, WiMax/WiFi WLL systems, cable call management platforms, and mobile switching environments.
