Equipped with 8 E1/T1 interfaces (upgradeable to 16), dual DC power supplies, and eight Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, the Mediant 3100 ensures reliable interoperability across SIP trunks, IP-PBXs, and TDM-based systems. The platform supports up to 64 E1/T1 spans and 5,000 concurrent SBC sessions, making it ideal for high-demand deployments.
With advanced security features—including defense against DoS/DDoS attacks, fraud prevention, eavesdropping protection, and service-theft mitigation—the Mediant 3100 offers hardened perimeter protection.
