The AudioCodes Mediant 5G-EA Extended Access Module (M5G-EA-EU) delivers high-performance 5G WAN connectivity in a rugged outdoor IP65 enclosure, designed to enhance branch and small-business networking with reliable, high-speed wireless access. Acting as a 5G extension to any MSBR router, it transforms the customer premises router into a fully integrated 5G solution—combining multi-WAN resilience, robust data throughput, and optimized voice and security capabilities.
Equipped with six internal omnidirectional antennas and support for both SA and NSA modes, the Mediant 5G-EA ensures extended coverage and dependable performance in diverse deployment scenarios. The unit can be installed remotely—up to 100 meters from the indoor router—allowing placement in areas with optimal cellular reception for maximum signal quality. With its outdoor-rated IP65 protection and wide operating temperature range, it is built to perform in harsh environments. Power flexibility is also core to the design, supporting both PoE and external AC/DC power options.
