The AudioCodes Mediant 5G-EA-G is a high-performance outdoor 5G cellular extension module designed to add reliable, high-speed 5G WAN connectivity to any AudioCodes Multi-Service Business Router (MSBR). Built with IP65 protection, advanced internal antennas, and support for both physical SIM and eSIM, the M5G-EA-G delivers superior throughput, optimized signal reception, and resilient failover for enterprise and branch deployments.
Featuring seven internal antennas for 4G LTE-Advanced and 5G NR networks, the module ensures strong and consistent reception—especially when mounted outdoors using its included wall or pole mounting hardware. It supports one physical SIM plus one eSIM, enabling flexible carrier selection and automated redundancy.
The module connects to an MSBR through a Gigabit Ethernet link, supporting PoE powering via an AudioCodes or third-party PoE injector, or optional indoor AC adaptor. An independent processing unit manages all cellular traffic, reducing CPU load on the MSBR and improving overall system performance.
Ideal for distributed enterprise sites, SD-WAN topologies, and high-availability VoIP networks, the Mediant 5G-EA-G delivers dependable 5G connectivity, advanced monitoring, selectable NSA/SA mode operation, and seamless integration with AudioCodes routing, security, and management solutions.
