Designed for small to mid-sized organizations, this platform combines Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC) security, VoIP mediation, data routing, WAN access, and survivability into one flexible, high-performance appliance.
This model includes 1 E1/T1 digital interface, 4 FXS analog voice ports, dual Active/Standby GE interfaces, and a single AC power supply, making it ideal as a demarcation device between enterprise networks and SIP service providers. With support for up to 30 E-SBC sessions (E1) or 36 sessions (T1)—license dependent—and up to 200 registered users, the Mediant 800B delivers a scalable and secure edge solution.
Advanced security tools such as TLS, SRTP, IPSec, and DoS protection safeguard VoIP traffic while enabling top-tier interoperability with leading PBXs, ITSPs, and unified communications platforms.
