The Kramer VP-428H2 is a professional-grade 4K60 4:4:4 auto switcher and scaler designed for modern AV environments that require seamless switching, high-quality video processing, and long-distance signal extension over HDBaseT. Equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA inputs, it automatically detects and switches to the active source while delivering exceptional image clarity through Kramer’s PixPerfect™ precision scaling technology.
Ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, control centers, and digital signage applications, the VP-428H2 outputs video up to 4K60 (4:2:0) over HDBaseT with a transmission distance up to 100 meters using recommended cabling. It also provides PoE to power a compatible HDBaseT receiver, simplifying installation and reducing the need for external power supplies.
With built-in Ethernet, bidirectional RS-232 and IR tunneling, OSD control, front-panel buttons, and flexible configuration options, this switcher/scaler delivers reliable performance and intuitive operation for any professional AV deployment.
