Description

The MFA1A00-C030 NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 100G QSFP28 Active Optical Cable (AOC) provides a high-speed 100Gbps QSFP28-to-QSFP28 connection over a 30-meter (98.43 ft) optical cable.

Designed for 100G Ethernet applications, this active optical cable is suited for direct connections between switches, servers, and network interface cards within or between adjacent racks. Its lightweight and slim optical construction helps simplify cable routing and management compared with traditional copper cabling.

The cable operates at an 850nm wavelength, supports a 3.3V power supply, and consumes less than 2.2W. It is designed for commercial environments operating from 0Β°C to 70Β°C and supports IEEE 802.3bm and SFF-8665 protocols. The assembly is hot-pluggable and compliant with QSFP28 MSA and RoHS-6 requirements.

Our Process

From Scope to Sign-Off

A structured delivery process designed to reduce risk and keep projects moving.

01

Plan

Discovery, site review, requirements gathering, and project alignment. We define scope, constraints, and success criteria before any design work begins.

  • Discovery calls & stakeholder interviews
  • On-site survey & infrastructure review
  • Requirements & use-case documentation
  • Project scope, timeline & milestone alignment
02

Engineer

System design, schematics, signal flow, BOM development, and documentation. Every project leaves this phase with a complete engineering package.

  • AV system design & signal flow diagrams
  • Equipment selection & BOM development
  • Rack layout & control system design
  • As-built documentation package
03

Deploy

Procurement, logistics, installation, programming, commissioning, and training. We own the delivery from first shipment to final handoff.

  • Authorized procurement & logistics coordination
  • Physical installation & cable management
  • Control system programming & configuration
  • Commissioning, testing & end-user training
