The AddOn Mellanox® MFA1A00-E040 Compatible 100GBase-AOC QSFP28 Active Optical Cable delivers high-performance, cost-effective 100Gbps connectivity for data center, enterprise, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Operating over multi-mode fiber (MMF) with a maximum reach of 40 meters (131.2 ft) and an 850nm wavelength, this active optical cable supports a 103.1 Gbps aggregate bit rate with four independent full-duplex channels.
Compliant with QSFP28 MSA and OIF CEI-28G-VSR standards, it ensures seamless interoperability and reliable performance across InfiniBand EDR and 100G Ethernet networks. Each cable is programmed, uniquely serialized, and extensively tested for data traffic and application compatibility to guarantee OEM-equivalent functionality. Featuring low power consumption (≤2.5W per terminal), a single 3.3V power supply, and full Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support, this TAA-compliant AOC is ideal for high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnects in modern network infrastructures.
