Description

The NVIDIA Mellanox MCP7H50-H01AR30 is a 1.5-meter passive copper splitter cable for InfiniBand HDR. It connects one 200Gb/s HDR QSFP56 port to two 100Gb/s HDR100 QSFP56 ports. Two copper pairs on the single QSFP56 end (pairs 1&2 and 3&4) route to the dual copper pairs on each of the two QSFP56 ends. This lets one HDR switch port serve two HDR100 devices.

The cable is IBTA InfiniBand HDR compliant and uses 4x 50Gb/s PAM4 modulation. Bit error rate is better than 1E-15 with Mellanox InfiniBand HDR systems. Each QSFP56 port has an EEPROM the host system can read. The cable is hot-pluggable, draws a maximum of 0.1W, and runs from a single 3.3V supply. It has an LSZH jacket and colored pull tabs, and is RoHS compliant.
