The AddOn Q400G-4Q56G-AOC20M-AO is a high-performance, MSA and TAA compliant 400GBase active optical cable (AOC) featuring a QSFP-DD to 4xQSFP56 breakout design. Engineered for next-generation data centers, cloud infrastructure, and high-speed networking environments, this AOC delivers up to 56.15 Gb/s per lane using PAM4 modulation over multi-mode fiber with a maximum reach of 20 meters. It features low-latency DSP-free CDR, hot-pluggable interfaces, and low-power operation β€” consuming just 7.6W on the 400G end and 2.3W on the 100G ends. Built with LSZH-rated cabling and compliant with IEEE 802.3cm and CMIS 4.0 standards, this cable ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability for demanding applications such as switch-to-server connections, storage interconnects, and NIC adapter deployments. Each unit is uniquely serialized, fully tested for interoperability, and backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
