Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW19-40-AO is a high-performance, MSA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for reliable and efficient long-distance data transmission. Operating on ITU Channel DW19 (1562.23nm), this hot-pluggable transceiver supports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps and delivers seamless connectivity up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) via a duplex LC connector.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it ensures stable performance, low EMI, and excellent ESD protection. The module also features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and is TAA compliant, making it ideal for government and enterprise network deployments. Applications include 8x/10x Fibre Channel, 16x Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM, and metro, access, and enterprise networks.
