The Cisco NCS2015-SA-AC is an AC-powered shelf assembly for the Cisco Network Convergence System 2015, purpose-built for high-capacity optical transport networks. Designed for dense ROADM nodes and large-scale DWDM deployments, this 14RU chassis delivers exceptional scalability, operational efficiency, and flexibility for metro, long-haul, and core network environments.
Supporting up to 15 service slots, the NCS2015 shelf enables large concentrations of transponder, muxponder, and ROADM line cards while maintaining simplified management through multishelf operation. Front-to-back airflow, hot-swappable components, and redundant AC power module support help ensure high availability and data center compatibility. This chassis is ideal for service providers and enterprises requiring a programmable, high-density optical transport foundation.
