Description
The NVIDIA MCP7Y00-N001 is a 1-meter passive direct attach copper splitter cable. It connects one 800G twin-port OSFP switch port to two 400G OSFP endpoints, such as ConnectX-7 OSFP adapters. DAC cables contain only a small configuration EEPROM and copper wire, which gives them the lowest latency (5–15ns), lowest power (under 0.1W), lowest cost, and highest reliability in the LinkX range. LinkX cables support both InfiniBand and Ethernet protocols.
