Description
The NVIDIA 980-9IAH1-00XM00 (MMS4A00) is a 1600Gb/s twin-port OSFP 2xDR4 single-mode transceiver supporting XDR 800Gb/s InfiniBand. It uses 8 channels of 200G-PAM4 electrical signaling and two 4-channel 200G-PAM4 optical ports over dual MPO-12/APC connectors at 1310nm. It reaches up to 500m, a figure that assumes two optical patch panels in the link. This finned-top (integrated heat sink) version lets the Quantum-X800 QM3400 switch support 144 ports of 800Gb/s. It is used in Quantum-3 air-cooled and liquid-cooled switches.
