Description

The AddOn Optelian® 1018-7709-AO is a high-performance 1000Base-DWDM SFP transceiver designed for reliable data transmission over long-distance single-mode fiber (SMF) networks. Operating at a wavelength of 1536.61 nm with 100 GHz channel spacing, this hot-pluggable transceiver delivers up to 80 km reach via a duplex LC connector. It supports Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications, making it ideal for access, metro, and enterprise network deployments. Fully compliant with INF-8074 and SFF-8472 standards, the module also features Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time performance insights. Each unit is uniquely serialized, application-tested, and guaranteed 100% compatible with the equivalent Optelian® module. Backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty, it offers exceptional reliability, robust ESD protection, and low EMI performance in a compact, RoHS-compliant form factor.
