Description
The Perle C-1000-S2LC40 Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter Module provides reliable copper-to-fiber connectivity for high-performance networking. This module converts 1000BASE-T (RJ-45) connections up to 100 m (328 ft.) into 1000BASE-EX single-mode fiber (LC) links that extend up to 40 km (24.9 miles).
Designed for installation in the Perle MCR200 or MCR1900 Modular Chassis Systems, the C-1000-S2LC40 enables seamless integration of UTP copper to fiber within enterprise, data center, and service provider environments. Supporting transparent conversion, it ensures optimal performance without compromising network integrity.
