Designed for installation in a high-density Perle Media Converter Chassis, this module transparently converts 1000BASE-SX 850nm multimode (SC) connections up to 550 m into 1000BASE-BX 1490nm TX / 1310nm RX single-strand single-mode (SC) connections up to 20 km (12.4 miles).
