The Perle C-1110-S2LC160 is a high-performance 10/100/1000 Rate Converting Media Converter Module designed to extend copper Ethernet networks over long-distance fiber connections. Installed in a high-density Perle Media Converter Chassis, this module provides seamless conversion from RJ45 copper (up to 100m) to 1000BZX single mode LC fiber (up to 160km).
Engineered for enterprise and carrier-grade networks, it supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and Loopback for efficient monitoring and reduced maintenance. With transparent support for VLANs, jumbo packets up to 10KB, and IEEE pause signaling, this module ensures reliability in demanding applications.
