The Perle CM-100-S2LC120 Fast Ethernet Media Converter Module is engineered to extend your network over long distances, bridging copper and fiber seamlessly. Installed in a high-density Perle Media Converter Chassis, this managed module converts 100Base-TX RJ45 (100m) connections to 100Base-FX LC single-mode fiber (1550nm) up to 120km (74.6 miles).
Designed for maximum flexibility, it supports both managed and unmanaged operation, ensuring transparent connectivity for UTP copper and fiber links. IT administrators benefit from advanced features such as Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Far End Fault, and Pause, making troubleshooting more efficient while minimizing downtime.
