The Perle CM-100-S2LC80 Fast Ethernet Media Converter Module is engineered to extend network distances and seamlessly connect UTP copper to fiber. Designed for installation in high-density Perle Media Converter Chassis, this managed module converts 100Base-TX RJ45 copper (up to 100m) to 100Base-FX single mode LC fiber (up to 80km/49.7 miles).
With advanced features like Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Far-End Fault, and Pause, network administrators benefit from simplified troubleshooting, reduced downtime, and transparent connections between devices. When paired with a Media Converter Management Module, it enables remote configuration, monitoring, and control through SNMP, CLI (Telnet/SSH), or PerleVIEW centralized management software.
