The Perle CM-1000-S1SC80U Managed Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter Module extends copper-to-fiber connections seamlessly, providing high-performance network expansion for enterprise and carrier-grade environments. Designed for installation in a Perle Media Converter Chassis, this module converts 1000Base-T RJ45 copper (up to 100m) to 1000Base-BX single-strand SC fiber (1510nm TX / 1590nm RX) with reach up to 80km (50 miles).
Featuring advanced monitoring and management capabilities, the CM-1000-S1SC80U supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and Loopback. IT administrators can configure and monitor ports using SNMP, CLI (Telnet/SSH), web browser, or the PerleVIEW Centralized Management platform, reducing downtime and simplifying troubleshooting.
