The Perle CM-1000MM-S1SC120D is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet Fiber-to-Fiber Managed Media Converter Module designed for enterprise and carrier-grade deployments. It enables seamless conversion between 1000BASE-SX multimode (850nm, SC, up to 550 m) and 1000BASE-BX single strand single mode (1490nm TX / 1310nm RX, SC, up to 120 km/75 miles) fiber connections.
Installed in a Perle high-density Media Converter Chassis, this module provides transparent fiber extension, signal regeneration, and advanced fault detection for reliable long-distance communication. With support for SNMP, CLI, Telnet/SSH, browser-based management, and centralized control via PerleVIEW, it is engineered for scalability, simplified administration, and reduced maintenance costs.
