The Perle CM-1000MM-S2LC160 is a Gigabit Ethernet Fiber-to-Fiber Managed Media Converter Module designed for high-density deployments within Perle Media Converter Chassis systems. It enables seamless conversion from 1000BASE-SX multimode fiber (LC, 850nm, up to 550m) to 1000BASE-EZX single mode fiber (LC, 1550nm, up to 160 km/100 miles).
Supporting both managed and unmanaged operation, the CM-1000MM-S2LC160 ensures transparent data transmission with advanced features such as Smart Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and signal regeneration. IT administrators can manage and monitor modules via SNMP, CLI, Telnet/SSH, web browser, or PerleVIEW centralized software when paired with a Media Converter Management Module.
