The Perle CM-1000MM-S2ST120 Gigabit Ethernet Fiber to Fiber Media Converter Managed Module delivers long-range fiber extension with enterprise-grade reliability. Designed for installation in a high-density Perle Media Converter Chassis, it transparently converts 1000BASE-SX multimode (850 nm, ST, up to 550 m) to 1000BASE-EZX single mode (1550 nm, ST, up to 120 km / 74.6 miles).
Supporting both managed and unmanaged operation, this module integrates advanced features such as Smart Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and Loopback to ensure network transparency and simplified troubleshooting. When paired with a Media Converter Management Module, IT administrators gain full access to SNMP, CLI (Telnet/SSH), browser-based, or centralized PerleVIEW Device Management software.
