With 7 Gigabit RJ-45 ports (6 PoE/PoE+ capable) and 2 100Base-LX single-mode fiber ports (duplex SC, up to 20 km), this switch delivers reliable connectivity for mission-critical networks.
Built to withstand harsh conditions such as extreme temperatures (-40°C to +75°C), vibrations, and electrical surges, the IDS-509F2PP6 is ideal for automation, government, military, oil & gas, mining, and outdoor deployments.
Equipped with Perle’s PRO software feature set, the switch provides advanced enterprise-class security and management, including AAA Security Services, SSH, HTTPS, and SNMPv3. Its intuitive setup options—such as Fast Setup Plug-and-Play or familiar CLI access (via Telnet or serial console)—enable quick deployment by CCNA/CCNP-trained engineers.
As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, it delivers up to 30W of power per PoE port to powered devices such as VoIP phones, access points, and IP cameras, simplifying installation by eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
