The Perle IDS-509F3PP6-C2MD2-SD40-XT is a rugged Industrial Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch designed to deliver secure, high-performance networking in mission-critical environments. Featuring 9 ports, including 6 Gigabit RJ-45 ports with PoE/PoE+ support, 2 Fast Ethernet multimode SC fiber ports (100Base-FX, up to 5km), and 1 Fast Ethernet single-mode SC fiber port (100Base-LX, up to 40km), this switch ensures reliable connectivity across extended distances.
Built to withstand extreme conditions from -40°C to +75°C, it is ideal for industrial automation, government, military, oil and gas, mining, and outdoor applications. Equipped with the PRO software feature set, the IDS-509 series provides advanced security and network integration capabilities, including AAA security services, SSH, SNMPv3, and HTTPS.
Engineered as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), it supplies up to 30W per PoE port to connected Powered Devices (PDs) such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and wireless access points. Network engineers benefit from flexible management options, including CLI access via Telnet or serial console, making deployment and operation seamless.
