The Perle IDS-509F3PP6-T2MD2-SD40-XT is an Industrial Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch designed for mission-critical networks in harsh environments. Featuring 9 ports—including 6 x 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports (all PoE/PoE+ capable), 2 x 100Base-FX multimode ST ports (up to 5 km), and 1 x 100Base-LX single mode ST port (up to 40 km)—this rugged switch delivers reliable connectivity for industrial automation, government, military, oil & gas, mining, and outdoor applications.
With an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, surge and vibration resistance, and advanced security features, the IDS-509 ensures uptime and resilience. It supports PRO software features such as AAA Security, SSH, SNMPv3, HTTPS, and Perle’s Fast Setup for simplified deployment. As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), the IDS-509 provides up to 30W per PoE port, making it ideal for powering wireless access points, VoIP phones, and IP cameras.
Built for engineers, this switch offers a familiar CLI interface (via Telnet or serial console) and seamless integration with enterprise-grade networks.
