The Perle IDS-509G2PP6-C2SD10-XT is a rugged Industrial Managed Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch built to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance networking in harsh environments. Featuring 9 ports—including 7 Gigabit RJ-45 ports (6 PoE/PoE+ capable) and 2 Gigabit single-mode fiber SC ports (1310nm LX/LH, up to 10 km/6.2 miles)—this switch is engineered for mission-critical applications.
With its -40°C to +75°C extended operating temperature, resistance to surges, shocks, and vibrations, and DIN rail mounting, the IDS-509 series is ideal for industrial automation, government, military, oil & gas, mining, and outdoor deployments.
Equipped with the PRO feature set, it provides advanced enterprise-class security and management, including AAA Security Services, SSH, HTTPS, and SNMPv3. Engineers will also appreciate Perle’s Fast Setup Plug-and-Play installation and Cisco-style CLI access via Telnet or console port.
Classified as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), it delivers up to 30W of PoE+ power per port, supporting wireless access points, VoIP phones, and IP cameras through standard UTP cabling. The IDS-509 ensures deterministic, real-time networking performance demanded by today’s industrial operations.
