The Perle PSI-MOS-RS232/FO1300 E Serial to Fiber Converter (Part #27085884) provides reliable connectivity by extending RS232 serial communication over fiber optic cable. With a DB9M serial interface and duplex SC connectors, it supports both multimode and single-mode fiber transmission for flexible deployment.
By transmitting data over optical fiber, this converter protects against electrical interference, improves signal integrity, and extends communication distances—up to 27 km (16.7 miles) on multimode or 45 km (28 miles) on single mode fiber.
