The Perle S-110PP-S2SC80 is a feature-rich Fast Ethernet stand-alone media and rate converter with PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) power sourcing. It seamlessly connects 10/100Base-TX copper (RJ-45) networks up to 100 m (328 ft.) with 100Base-ZX single-mode fiber (SC connector) for distances up to 80 km (49.7 miles).
Engineered for powering standards-based PoE and PoE+ devices, this converter delivers up to 30W of power to IP phones, IP cameras, wireless access points, and other Powered Devices (PDs), while extending network reach using fiber cabling.
With advanced features such as Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, Remote Loopback, and PD Reset, IT administrators can reduce downtime and simplify troubleshooting.
