The Perle S-110PP-S2ST120 Fast Ethernet Media and Rate Converter with PoE+ is designed to extend network connections while powering edge devices. This stand-alone converter transparently connects 10/100Base-TX copper to 100Base-ZX single-mode fiber over ST connectors, supporting distances up to 120 km (74.6 miles).
Functioning as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), it delivers both PoE (15.4W) and PoE+ (30W) power to standards-compliant Powered Devices (PDs), including IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled devices. With features like Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and Remote Loopback, administrators gain advanced troubleshooting capabilities to minimize downtime.
