The Perle S-1110DP-S1SC10U PoE Media Converter is a high-performance stand-alone device designed to extend copper-based Ethernet networks over single-strand fiber while simultaneously providing Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) to connected devices. With dual 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports and a single SC fiber port (1310nm TX / 1490nm RX), it supports distances up to 10 km (6.2 miles) over single-mode fiber.
As Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), this converter delivers up to 30W of PoE+ power to IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other IEEE 802.3af/at compliant Powered Devices (PDs).
