Description
The Perle S-1110DP-S2ST120 is a feature-rich Gigabit Ethernet Stand-Alone Media Converter with PoE Power Sourcing capability, designed to extend networks over long distances while powering connected devices. It transparently converts copper Ethernet to fiber, connecting dual 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) ports over UTP to 1000BASE-ZX 1550 nm single-mode fiber (ST) at distances up to 120 km (74.6 miles).
As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, it supplies IEEE 802.3af PoE (15.4W) and IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (30W) to standards-based powered devices, such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, access points, and conferencing systems. Advanced features like Auto-MDIX, Smart Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, and Remote PD Reset reduce downtime and simplify troubleshooting, making it an ideal solution for enterprise networks, surveillance, and industrial deployments.
