The Perle S-1110P-S1SC20U is a feature-rich Gigabit Ethernet stand-alone media converter with Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. Designed to seamlessly connect copper and fiber networks, it converts 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) to 1000BASE-BX single-strand fiber (SC), extending network distances up to 20 km (12.4 miles) over single-mode fiber.
As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), this converter provides PoE or PoE+ to standards-compliant powered devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and video conferencing equipment.
