The Perle S-1110P-S2SC160 is a feature-rich, stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter with PoE Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) functionality. It converts 10/100/1000BASE-T copper (RJ-45) to 1000BASE-EZX fiber (SC, single-mode, 1550 nm), extending network connectivity up to 160 km (100 miles) over fiber.
This media converter delivers both data and power across a single UTP cable to IEEE 802.3af (PoE, 15.4W) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+, 30W) compliant devices, such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, Wi-Fi access points, and other powered devices.
With advanced features like Smart Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, PD Reset, VLAN transparency, and jumbo frame support, administrators can quickly troubleshoot and maintain reliable connectivity.
