The Perle S-1110PP-S1SC10U Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Media Converter delivers reliable copper-to-fiber conversion while providing Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) to standards-based devices. Supporting 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) to 1000BASE-BX (1310 nm TX / 1490 nm RX, SC) over single-strand fiber, this model extends networks up to 10 km (6.2 miles).
Designed as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), it powers one or two Powered Devices (PDs) such as IP cameras, VoIP phones, and Wi-Fi access points while using the same UTP cabling for data transmission.
With advanced features like Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDIX, Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, Loopback, and PD Reset, administrators can efficiently manage, monitor, and troubleshoot network links. Robust power management, strain relief strap, and support for both IEEE 802.3af (15.4W) and 802.3at PoE+ (30W) ensure flexible, long-lasting performance.
This compact, stand-alone media converter includes an AC power adapter and is backed by Perle’s lifetime warranty and global technical support, making it a cost-effective solution for extending networks with fiber while simultaneously delivering PoE power.
