The Perle SMI-1000-S1SC20D is a Gigabit Ethernet IP Managed Standalone Media Converter that extends your copper-based network up to 20 km (12.4 miles) over single-mode fiber. Designed for enterprise and carrier-grade applications, it transparently converts 1000Base-T RJ45 (copper) to 1000Base-BX single-fiber SC with 1490nm TX / 1310nm RX.
