Converting 1000Base-T RJ45 (100m/328ft) to 1000Base-ZX 1550nm SC single mode fiber, this converter supports transmission ranges of 70km (43.5 miles) up to 100km (62 miles), making it ideal for carriers, ISPs, and enterprise backbones.
Built with advanced management features, the SMI-1000-S2SC70 provides SNMP, CLI (Telnet/SSH), HTTPS, and PerleVIEW support for complete monitoring and control. Key functions include Smart Link Pass-Through, Fiber Fault Alert, Auto-MDIX, VLAN and Jumbo Frame transparency, and robust authentication (TACACS+, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMPv3, SSH).
