The AddOn Rad® XFP-7D-61-AO is a high-performance, hot-pluggable 10GBase-DWDM XFP transceiver designed for long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating at a wavelength of 1528.77nm and supporting distances up to 80km, this module is ideal for metro, access, and enterprise network deployments, as well as 8G/10G Fibre Channel and 10G Ethernet DWDM applications.
Equipped with a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and APD receiver, the transceiver ensures reliable performance across a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and is TAA-compliant, ensuring eligibility for U.S. Government procurement. Each unit is rigorously tested for 100% compatibility with Rad® equipment, guaranteeing seamless interoperability and reliable performance.
