Description

Remotely capture broadcast quality Full HD images with smooth, silent PTZ
The BRC-H900 remote studio camera combines uncompromising broadcast picture quality with the flexibility of PTZ operation.

Designed for unattended operation, this compact but powerful robotic camera is an ideal complement to other broadcast cameras for capturing images in hard-to-reach or unobtrusive positions. It's equally at home in TV newsrooms, remote studios and on-air suites, auditoriums, houses of worship, courtrooms or outdoor sports events.

The sensitive ½-type Exmor 3CMOS image sensor captures detail-packed Full HD footage with low noise and a wide dynamic range. Smooth, speedy remote PTZ with 14x optical zoom and on-board image stabilization accommodates wide-angle scenes and tightly framed close-ups. Broadcast-friendly features include dual tally lamps for on-air operation, while operational flexibility is enhanced with options for ceiling, table top or tripod mounting.

There’s also a broad range of video interface and remote control possibilities, simplifying smooth integration into any broadcast or professional AV environment.
This product contains pre-installed software and requires the purchase of license keys to activate some functions.

Features

Broadcast quality Full HD images
The BRC-H900 delivers uncompromised broadcast quality color pictures in Full HD, thanks to three 1/2-inch type Exmor CMOS sensors. Advanced picture adjust functions include matrix, color correction, white, detail, knee, gamma, master black, black gamma and flicker cancel.
High quality 14x optical zoom lens
The high quality lens with 14x optical zoom range covers wide angle shots as well as tight close-ups, making the BRC-H900 ideal for use in a wide range of applications, from broadcast studios to conference halls, boardrooms and outdoor events.
Excellent low light sensitivity
With high sensitivity (F10) and excellent minimum illumination (4 lx), the BRC-H900 can capture crisp, low noise pictures even in dimly lit studios and meeting rooms.
Smooth, silent Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) operation
Accurately re-frame shots or track moving subjects with smooth, speedy remote control of pan, tilt and zoom functions. There's also a slow pan/tilt mode for precise, judder-free low-speed camera movements. Near-silent operation makes the camera ideal for broadcast studios and other noise-conscious environments.
Steadier, more stable images
On-board image stabilization ensures crisper, more stable images in situations where the camera is subject to movement and vibration.
Flexible installation
The BRC-H900 is equally suitable for ceiling, dektop or tripod mounting, with an 'Image Flip' function that automatically ensures the correct output orientation in any installation environment. Ceiling bracket included.
Remote operation
Pan/tilt/zoom and other camera settings can be controlled using the supplied IR remote commander, or with the optional RM-BR300 Remote Control Unit that can control multiple cameras.
Optional IP control
Large-scale systems of up to 112 BRC-H900 cameras can be controlled over standard IP networks by adding the optional BRBK-IP10 IP remote control board and RM-IP10 remote controller.
Versatile video outputs
Extensive video outputs - including HD/SD-SDI, component and composite Y/C - give greater installation flexibility in professional broadcast and AV environments.
Wide range of expansion options
The camera can be configured with a choice of optional accessory cards, including the BRBK-HSD2 (HD/SD-SDI output), BRBK-SA1 (Analog SD output), BRBK-SF1 (HD optical multiplex) and BRBK-IP10 (IP control). Also available are the BRU-SF10HD optical multiplex unit and CCFC-S200 optical fiber cable for operation over long distances.
Front and rear tally lamps
Ideal for on-air broadcast use, the BRC-H900 features dual tally lamps on the front and rear of the camera body. Brightness of the front tally lamp can be adjusted in two steps.
