Description

The Soundweb London BLU-120 Audio Processor (BSSBLU120M-US) delivers powerful, scalable digital signal processing for installed sound applications. Designed with configurable I/O and a high-bandwidth, fault-tolerant 256-channel BLU link digital audio bus, the BLU-120 forms the core of flexible and highly reliable audio systems.

Configured using HiQnet™ Audio Architect’s intuitive drag-and-drop environment, the BLU-120 provides system designers with a rich palette of logic objects and DSP tools for tailored system architecture. The integrated BLU link supports 256 channels of low-latency digital audio over standard Cat 5e cabling with distances up to 100 meters between devices. With fiber optic media converters, transmission distances can exceed 40km.

Four rear-panel card slots support a wide range of modular I/O configurations. Each slot accepts one of six available I/O card types—Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital Input, Digital Output, AEC Input, or Telephone Hybrid—each providing four channels per card. Analog input cards feature software-configurable gain up to +48dB in 6dB steps and selectable phantom power per channel. Digital cards support AES/EBU and S/PDIF formats with flexible clocking and synchronization options.

Front panel LED indicators provide real-time monitoring of Phantom Power, Sync, Signal Present, and Clip status without requiring a PC. The integrated display offers device name, firmware version, IP address, subnet mask, and time information. A bi-directional locate function enables quick device identification within HiQnet Audio Architect.

With 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs, the BLU-120 integrates seamlessly with GPIO-compatible devices and third-party control systems. EN 54-16 compliance ensures suitability for life safety and emergency voice alarm applications.

The Soundweb London BLU-120 is engineered for reliability, flexibility, and advanced system control in professional AV installations.
