The Server Technology PRO4X Switched PDU delivers advanced power distribution and management capabilities tailored for today’s mission-critical data centers. Built on the Xerus™ network interface platform, this intelligent PDU provides secure remote access to power controls, detailed input and branch current monitoring, and per-outlet on/off control.
Equipped with HDOT Cx outlets, each outlet supports both C14 and C20 plugs, ensuring maximum flexibility for mixed-device deployments. The patented RamLock™ self-locking mechanism prevents accidental cord disconnects, enhancing uptime reliability.
Operators gain comprehensive visibility with multi-color LCD indicators, RGB LED outlet status lights, and waveform capture for real-time power quality monitoring. The PRO4X also supports cascading of up to 16 PDUs through a single IP, simplifying management. Environmental monitoring is available via plug-and-play DX2 SmartSensors, alerting administrators to changes in temperature, humidity, airflow, water detection, and more.
Designed for demanding environments, the PRO4X is UL 62368-1 certified, rated for operation at 60 °C, and includes alternating-phase outlets for simplified load balancing. With advanced security protocols including 256-bit AES encryption, SSH, SSL, HTTPS, and LDAP(S) support, this PDU ensures both reliable performance and robust cybersecurity.
