The Chief Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System FPIWMS is an all-in-one, configurable solution engineered to streamline installation workflows and maximize efficiency—especially for large-scale rollouts. Designed with contractors and AV professionals in mind, this complete system simplifies rough-in and final installation while delivering robust structural support for large and extra-large displays.
FPIWMS includes both the in-wall rough-in kit and the finishing wall mount kit in a single box, eliminating split ordering and reducing project delays. During construction, the in-wall boxes with stud tabs can be installed between 16" on-center metal studs. After wall finishing, flanges, the display mount, and small-device storage plates are added for a clean, professional finish.
The system supports 65"+ displays and is weight-rated up to 250 lbs (113 kg), removing the need for wood blocking reinforcement when installed per manufacturer instructions. Its flexible design accommodates an infinite number of horizontal mounting patterns, making it compatible with extra-large and select ultrawide displays. Storage boxes can be positioned as needed to align the display perfectly, with vertical mounting patterns extending up to 650 mm using an optional adapter bracket (sold separately).
Included are two 15x10 Lever Lock™ plates, providing clearance for a minimum of 1 RU of AV equipment. Lateral shift flexibility within the storage boxes allows precise device placement, and compatibility with Middle Atlantic® Forward Small Device Mounting Clamps ensures secure equipment integration.
