Description

The Lenovo ThinkSystem 6500 ION 30.72TB Read Intensive NVMe SSD is an enterprise-grade storage solution designed for high-capacity, read-intensive and general-purpose data center workloads. Featuring a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface and 2.5-inch U.3 hot-swap form factor, it delivers up to 6,800 MB/s sequential read performance and up to 1,000,000 random read IOPS.

Built with Micron 232-layer 3D TLC NAND, the drive provides 16,800 TBW endurance, a 2 million-hour MTBF, and advanced power-loss and data-integrity protection. Integrated TCG Opal self-encrypting drive (SED) functionality adds hardware-level data security without impacting performance.

The SSD is formatted as a 4K Native (4Kn) drive and is optimized for environments where read performance, capacity, security, and enterprise reliability are key requirements.
