Description
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SN550 7X16CTO1WW is a configurable, standard-width Flex System compute node designed for demanding enterprise workloads, virtualization, databases, cloud applications, collaboration, and high-performance computing environments.
Built around second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, the SN550 supports one or two processors with up to 28 cores per CPU and processor speeds up to 3.8 GHz. Its flexible memory architecture provides up to 24 DIMM sockets with Lenovo TruDDR4 memory support at speeds up to 2933 MHz, along with support for Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory.
The system provides two 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays with support for SAS, SATA, and NVMe storage configurations, plus optional M.2 SSDs. Two PCIe 3.0 x16 I/O expansion connectors enable flexible networking and connectivity options, including Ethernet speeds up to 50 GbE depending on configuration.
Integrated Lenovo XClarity management, TPM support, Secure Boot, predictive failure analysis, and light path diagnostics help simplify administration while improving system security and availability. The 7X16CTO1WW is a general-purpose Configure-to-Order (CTO) base model, allowing processor, memory, storage, networking, and other components to be selected according to deployment requirements.
