Description

The NVIDIA MMA1B00-C100D is a high-performance, 4-channel QSFP28 optical transceiver designed for 100GbE Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF). It supports data rates up to 100Gb/s and provides transmission distances of up to 100 meters on OM4 fiber and 70 meters on OM3 fiber at 100Gb/s.

The transceiver converts four 25Gb/s electrical input channels into four optical signals operating at 850 nm, while the receiver converts four optical inputs back into electrical differential output signals. Selectable retiming for both transmit and receive paths enables compatibility with both 100GBASE-SR4 and 40GBASE-SR4 Ethernet applications.

The MMA1B00-C100D features an MPO/UPC optical interface, programmable transmit input equalization, programmable receive output amplitude and emphasis, and digital diagnostic monitoring for temperature, supply voltage, and optical power through an I2C management interface. Its hot-pluggable QSFP28 design, low typical power consumption, and RoHS compliance make it well suited for high-density enterprise, data center, and NVIDIA Ethernet networking environments.
